We are looking for a qualified Lead Preschool Teacher who professes a strong Christian faith, has had at least 5 years experience working with children ages 3-5 years old. This teacher will guide and prepare children ages 3-5 yrs for kindergarten using developmentally appropriate, play-based education and incorporate basic biblical truths and teaching throughout the daily routines. A qualified applicant will teach important skills and mold behaviors that help students navigate school life. A qualified applicant must demonstrate a great love for and patience with children of all ages and developmental stages. Qualified applicants must have training and experience to lead children effectively through their first school experience. They should have knowledge of best practices and preschool educational methods as well as the ability to engage students and establish loving and trusting relationships with students and their families.
Skills
Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher
An excitement to share their Christian faith, values and basic biblical truths
Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods
Bachelor's degree in ECE or similar
Familiarity with develping emergent child development curriculum
Excellent communication skills
Ability to connect with the kids and positive discipline
Cool-tempered, friendly, and reliable
Balance between a creative mind and a practical acumen
Certification in child CPR
